It's a weak K243CH out of Jackson for the Translator for KVGC 1340 kHZ

When I'm in Vallejo

KOIT San Francisco

DX/Retro In Pacifica in the 80's/90's it's all KOIT

East Tennessee (Knoxville/Sevierville: A marginal signal from WDOD, Chattanooga.
Retro/other: Dayton, Ohio. Strong signal from WFTK, Lebanon, Ohio (formerly licensed to Hamilton)
Lafayette, IN: Local WAZY. On a couple of occasions when WAZY was off the air, I received the Hamilton station. .

In Cheyenne it's KXPK "La Tricolor" Evergreen, Colorado, with moderate signal strength and occasional RDS, and in rare circumstances, HD. They are about 109 miles away.20220220_105620.jpg

Wasn't this the old 96.5 The Peak? (Where the callsign comes from

In the near north Chicago area 96.5 is bleedover from local WBBM-FM. During tropo I can sometimes hear WKLH "classic rock" from Milwaukee.

South Mississippi:

Usually, it's a weak signal from Tangi 96.5 WTGG Amite, LA which plays oldies. I've also received Newstalk 96.5 KPEL Breaux Bridge, LA,
Z-96 WZNS Fort Walton Beach, FL (CHR),
Alive 96.5 WBBL Richton, MS (gospel), and
La Tricolor KXPK Evergreen, CO (regional Mexican).

North Iowa:
A fairly weak mix of either KKSY/Cedar Rapids or KWWK/Rochester, both of which air country (the former is owned by iHeart, the latter is Townsquare).

Central Kansas:
K243BD/Salina, a translator for Christian KJRL/Herington; before they signed on over 15 years ago, you could eek in KRBZ/KC on certain days (and still can today, depending on antenna positioning/location), as well as KRGI-FM/Grand Island. (KRAV/Tulsa wasn’t that common to DX, from what I remember.)

It's bleed over from X 96.3 and 96.7 in Port Chester and if it's good conditions 96.5 TDY from Philly or WTIC out of Hartford.
