Karyn Greer gets big job at WSB

After losing Jovita Moore to a tragic death, WSB has brought long time Atlanta TV personality Karyn Greer to be the main evening anchor. She came to Atlanta on the weekends when channel 46 started a 10pm newscast later spending 15 years at channel 11. And making a return to channel 46 after it was CBS. Im trying to find out more but after 46 got Monica Kaufmann to do specials I find it interesting that 2 got Karyn Greer to anchor its prime newcasts.

WSB-TV plays the long game and sees getting Karyn from WGCL as a chess game. Monica goes to 46. Karyn, been at 46-11-46 now 2.
She a veteran and only few of those left in Atlanta. Most of the icons in Atlanta have retired, or died.

Sometime in the next month I believe that Karyn will be starting her new role. I assume the 6 month non-compete clause is keeping 2 from even promoting the hire or announcing the shows she will anchor. I feel like she wont be doing the 11pm news but for sure will be on at 6pm.
