The shift had been previously voicetracked by KROQ's Megan Holiday.

It's interesting, for two reasons:

Is this Audacy realizing that taking a format and voice tracking it on a national level is too generic, and is hurting an already struggling Alternative format.

And also, is it an attempt to counter act 91X's live local on air presentation. It's definitely a sign that Audacy has no intention of abandoning the Alternative format in San Diego.
