Maybe I missed it but is this station now off the air, when did it happen? What was its last format?
They are not listed at radio-locator.com anymore.
I'm listening right now to a 1968 aircheck of KYNO 1300 with DJ Johnny Scott, that is on YOUTUBE . . . they sounded great then !!!
Al
No, no, no. The KYNO calls are on 940 after they had been on 1430 for some years. 1300 has been KWRU for a long time. 1300 was Spanish religion but is now Punjabi language. John Ostland got the KYNO 940, not 1300.Probably a few months ago, when the partnership between John Ostlund and Fat Dawgs was disolved.. they got 1300 and 790.. and John kept the rest
Most probably know this, but Johnny Scott at KYNO became Bobby Ocean at KGB, KCBQ, KFRC, KHJ and other great California stations.Maybe I missed it but is this station now off the air, when did it happen? What was its last format?

Radio-locator has been missing several stations in many markets recently. I noticed it in Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose and Fresno.
Now the stations that were missing on the Fresno R-L listings are back- 1300, 1660 and 1680 to name just a few that were MIA. W/o checking the LA, SF and Sacto lists, I'm just going to assume they would be complete again now too. None of these had been off the air for any significant length of time recently.Oops, sorry.. i somehow got the stations confused when trying to go from memory
radio locator is missing some stations if theyre off the air.. or were off came back on and didnt someone catch that theyd come back
