Just looked at the schedule for the morning show it's on now till 11 am. I looked at the audacity app to find out. That means everyone got bumped up an hour. That's a good thing Gary and lisa can now sleep in later.

I wonder if this is because their numbers are telling them that there is much less listening in the 6:00 am hour than there used to be? I think there are so many people now working from home, and sleeping in during the hour or so that they previously used for their morning commute, that it is now showing up in the numbers and radio is adjusting accordingly.

Looks to me that it was the 5:00am hour that was given back to the automation, not the 6:00am one.

There have been many reports in local media that traffic is up to 80% to 90% of the peak, pre-pandemic levels.

I notice Skywalker is no longer on KRTH. Wonder when he left, as he has been a weekend fixture for many years on the station.

Sky Walker (Dave Skyler) left KRTH well over a year ago. He's been doing afternoons at FlashbackTop40.com since last April.

Gary Bryan started doing mornings at KRTH in June 2002, When Hollywood Hamilton took over the morning shift in February 2005, Gary moved to afternoon drive. He later returned to mornings in May 2006 after Hamilton left.

The time slots have varied. In the beginning it was 6am-10am, then 5am-9am. Now it’s either 6am-11am or 7am-11am.
