This is an unweighted sample and worthless unless the sample is 100% the same as the population on every single stratification variable.

This is like saying about a House vote that California voted the same as Delaware. Of course, we know that CA has many more representatives than DE, so we have to "weight" up the CA votes to equal the number of Congresspersons.

In all the years that you worked for Entercom, did they ever explain this to you? They have top notch research people there who understand how statistics work, and how to maximize it for their benefit. I understand you not trusting Nielsen. But how about other people who do this? There are consultants who do this as a specialty. What does Tom Langmyer tell you?
