I edited your title to indicate the market and to insure that it was clear you were talking about HD.Which stations in this city actually broadcast in HD on AM?
HDRadio.com is not relyable?
Thanks,

None do anymore. WPHT turned their HD off sometime in the summer of 2020Which stations in this city actually broadcast in HD on AM?

None in Philadelphia. There are a few distant HD stations you could receive in Philly: 820 WWFD (Frederick MD/Washington DC - all digital), 600 WCAO (Baltimore) - yes, this one is still on as of 3/21, 810 WGY (Albany NY), WFAS 1230 (White Plains NY/Hudson Valley) and 1080 WTIC (Hartford CT). Farther stations: WWJ 950 (Detroit MI) and WOWO 1190 (Fort Wayne IN).Which stations in this city actually broadcast in HD on AM?

I'm not sure when it was turned back on but it is on right now. And they are mentioning it in the TOH id.None do anymore. WPHT turned their HD off sometime in the summer of 2020
WPHT HD is not on as of 2:10pm, maybe it was on at 6:06am when you made your comment (running on their back up tx maybe?) but I can tell you for sure I haven't heard 1210 in HD in two years.I'm not sure when it was turned back on but it is on right now. And they are mentioning it in the TOH id.

The 8pm id was WPHT, WPHT HD, and WOGL HD3.I had on WPHT this morning and no HD at all before or after sunrise.
I also haven't heard them mention HD in the TOH or anywhere else OTA.

I always believed the rumor that iBiquity added AM HD because they believed the FCC would not approve an FM only solution which set AM back any further. Before my retirement, I lived in the Tampa Bay area. At that time, 970WFLA had a digital signal on the air.
I found it most annoying when listening to the analog signal. The constant sideband hissssssss drove me up the wall.
At the time, I drove a new Cadillac which had good bandwidth on the AM section of the radio. That made matters even worse.
It's a simple fact; Analog and digital do not play well together. It's an especially bad combination on the AM band.
Agreed. I was just disputing the claim that they are not mentioning HD in their TOH id. Seems odd if they turned it off 3 years ago. KYW, WCBS, and WINS no longer mention HD.The ID means poop squat.
Just because theyre saying it, doesnt mean theyre running it
