Don't know when they start streaming but I visit the website today and saw a stream option: http://www.metv.FM
Still a great station, nice music mix.

WMYX HD2 is simulcasting 87.7. If you listen at the top of the hour, they are IDing both stations. Since WMYX HD2 has always streamed, this means that 87.7's programming can now be heard online. This began late last year. Quietly. There was no mention of it or fanfare. WMYX HD2 previously ran the network version locally.Yes, but it's the Chicago playlist according their website, and I hear also mentioning the 87.7 on stream.
I wonder why they wanted to lease WMYX-HD2 just to have a stream. They could stream themselves for cheaperWMYX HD2 is simulcasting 87.7. They've been leasing 99.1 HD2 since 2018, particularly to show off and stream the network feed. Now that the network feed as several actual affiliates, this is no longer needed and it can be used for other purposes (such as streaming 87.7's programming)

Well said. I enjoy the station as too....amazing audio quality (as in audio processing settings, spectral balance, streaming bit rate, etc.), probably due to the great ears that Rick O'Dell (and Bill Cochran) possess, and this is the product that they have created. As for music programming on this radio station - top notch (for the format! Bill keeps it peppered with little specialty items that are not typically heard on other radio stations (ex. highlighting Dusty Springfield's birthday and playing some of her music throughout the day, every weekday at 3 PM playing two versions of the same song, by different artists, etc.). No wonder this station is so well liked.
