I was driving through the Lehigh Valley this past weekend and on my scan, I got a clear signal of Mega 101.7 all the way down to Quakertown along Route 309. All records show them pumping out a whole 4 watts of power that's fairly directional. Does anyone know if there's a CP or something they're running off of?

Closer to route 222, only 410 ft elev. I just checked my last bandscan from 2 or 3 months ago, and it appears if I did hear W269DY, it was too weak to ID with a roof antenna, but now it's quite clear on a portable (38 dBu if the meter on the Tecsun is accurate). I feel like something must have changed.
Yeah. I'm just surprised how well the signal gets out there based on what's listed for it. Curious if that's the actual pattern they're running or not.
Last summer, I was also hearing W269DY with a decent signal on a SUV radio while we were driving on I-81 southbound past the Hazleton exit. Even though it only transmit less than 5 watts, I was so amazed how well I can pick up this LV translator! It is also a fact that some of the W-B translators on the Pnebscot Mtn, can also be picked up well in this vicinity.
