Mysterious signal on 103.3

I’m picking up a very weak statically station on 103.3 FM. Music sounds like slow Baptist hymns. Can’t listen clear enough to listen to the words of the songs. Ok now they’re speaking on the radio, The host is speaking of Muhammad and Christ. But I am not sure if he’s talking in favor of it or against it, he does sound like a Jamaican accent speaking person.

OK before I posted this I kept hearing what the guy was saying. It seems to be an old audio because it is saying with the help of the Islamic president we have here in the United States Barack Obama. He will help give them weapons and money and stuff like that.

Are you still getting it? Tropos has been really good these past few nights and was still going on this morning. It might have been KVDT from Dallas. I don’t know if the programming you described fits the 103.3 translator

It is still on, will listen during my drive home right now and see if it gets stronger or weaker.

That is KVDT (formerly KESN) Allen/Dallas being bounced down here via tropo. It's been loud and clear every evening/morning this week without anything else on 103.3 in the way. (You may also occasionally catch KJCS/Nacogdoches and KBIU/Lake Charles on 103.3.)
KVDT schedule here: https://www.vcyamerica.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Allen-Dallas-KVDT-103.3-FM.pdf

This is tropo season and it has been pretty intense at times so far this week, I had KEGL/Dallas coming in over KTHT south of 610 last night.

I'm seeing KMJQ's RDS consistently in the morning when listening to KYBG Basile/Lafayette and even had the HD lock a few times, overriding KYBG's analog signal only 40 miles north of KYBG's 100kW C1 signal.

I had KRVF from south of Dallas completely override KHPT 30 miles away last night. I also locked in an HD station from Oklahoma City over KPFT

I Love Tropo, but it's not just some nearby station overpowering a local signal. That's an occasional atmospheric occurrence and not unexpected---kinda like getting Waco's KWTX instead of KFNC on FM 97.5 once in a while.

Real FM Tropo is getting a Kansas City Royals pre-game interview---and Amarillo concert ads while I was living hundreds of miles away in Northern Indiana (close to Ohio border). Both blasted thru at various times on FM 100.9, all while 2 local stations were broadcasting within 30 miles of my radio on FM 100.9 from Portland, Indiana and Bryan, Ohio.
-----Now, That's TROPO!

Amarillo to Indiana is much more likely to have been e-skip than tropo, actually.

Tonight I got KTKX San Antonio stronger than I was getting KHPT. On 106.9 I was hearing KLUB from Victoria. I also heard KPAC from San Antonio alongside KAFR which I’m less than 5 miles away from.

Last night it was WRQQ/Baton Rouge coming in over everything else on 103.3

If you ever hear hip hop on 103.3, it could be K277AG from Beaumont, but that would be a fluke.
