Speaking of Class A simulcasts: Did anyone besides me notice that, in the 6+ numbers at least, KDAY does much better in the IE than in their alleged home market of Los Angeles?
Sorry, I misunderstood your original post. Your idea makes sense, but would have to take into account that at present they sell the soft AC and Hot AC as a package. The total 2021 billing was nearly $4.5 million and I doubt they would want to mess with that. But KHTI and KATY are both in the IE market. However, neither has full coverage (both are Class A's) and the signals only overlap slightly. That's why I thought it might help to have the same format on both signals. KATY would cover the south (from Temecula to north of Hemet), and KHTI covers the north (San Berdoo, Riverside, Arrowhead, etc). Simulcasting on multiple Class A's to achieve better market coverage has been done in the Los Angeles market for decades.
Is K215BA no longer a translator for KCRW/KCRI?the K215BA translator fills in the area "up the hill" nicely
My listing somehow shows it for KATY or KHTI but now that I look, that may be an error. Is K215BA no longer a translator for KCRW/KCRI?
Is the San Jacinto Valley part of the market? My listing somehow shows it for KATY or KHTI but now that I look, that may be an error.
Not a 100 percent sure but it could be. KHTI does not cover san Jacinto. Is the San Jacinto Valley part of the market?

Okay, I sent a note to my data provider to correct the link. Thanks.K215BA is on the non-commercial frequency of 90.9 which is a dead giveaway that it can't be the translator station for KATY/KHTI nor any commercial station. Last time I was in the area recently, it was airing NPR programming.
