Don't forget K-Love.IHeart taking on The Fish, using Sacramento as the test case. That might prove interesting.

Doesn't make sense for iHeart to be daring with this when there are so few formats and listener demos that advertisers are willing to spend on. For women, it's country, AC and CHR. For men, it's classic rock, country and sports and far-right talk, although that format has severe age problems.I have a feeling just about every single one of us here will be somewhere on the disappointment scale when this new thing launches.....its not gonna be anything earth shattering, exciting, trendy or whatever the buzzword is
iHeart has the “Up!” station on the app that is relayed on a station in Florida and a few HD sub-channels, as well as urban gospel in mostly Southern markets, but that’s about the extent of it.Does iHeart do Christian? More important, would iHeart acquire a full-market signal just to put a format on it with no real expectation of listener or advertiser appeal? The Fish works in Atlanta, but the Deep South is not Northern California.
Supposedly, KSTE will do a "format-a-day" until May 27th, when they would re-launch with a format they decided on weeks ago. But yes, interactivity!lol this station hasn’t flipped to Christian, this is just another stunt day…
Where did you hear about the May 27th launch date?Supposedly, KSTE will do a "format-a-day" until May 27th, when they would re-launch with a format they decided on weeks ago. But yes, interactivity!
It's stuck behind a paywall: https://radioinsight.com/headlines/...-for-107-9-sacramento-as-format-launch-nears/Where did you hear about the May 27th launch date?
Really? Nowhere in that article did I state when the new format is launching. Please do not use content you don't have access to as an excuse to make things up.It's stuck behind a paywall: https://radioinsight.com/headlines/...-for-107-9-sacramento-as-format-launch-nears/
I must've thought I saw something that I didn't. Mondays! I do apologize for that. I could've sworn there was something in the article that pointed towards the 27th, but sometimes my memory is not the best. Again, sorry about my oversight.Really? Nowhere in that article did I state when the new format is launching. Please do not use content you don't have access to as an excuse to make things up.
