XFL 3.0 broadcast deal

This is NOT a big deal. In fact, it's a nonentity. I give it one season, tops. There is no reason for this league to exist.

A 10-week regular season beginning right after the Super Bowl? With minor-league players and coaches that are either rookies or have failed in the NFL? Lotsa luck. Most football fans will be burned out by then.

Besides, this means ESPN is competing with itself. It's airing college basketball, the NBA, and NHL during that time. You know, real sports. I doubt the XFL will generate any more subscriptions to ESPN+ than they already have, and who will bother to watch on ABC or ESPN?

Will the XFL teams be playing in the cities for which they're named, or will it be a pretend league for all but the team in whose stadium all the games are played, the way the USFL is?

Over/under on 3.0 making it to week 4?
this could last longer than 2.0 era XFL, but don't know if it makes it to 2 or 3 seasons, but then again, Vince McMahon sold it to one of the biggest entertainment stars in the world that he help put on the map by employing him and giving him the WWE Championship numerous time from1998-2002 and then one more reign in 2013 that lasted from the Royal Rumble to WrestleMania. i hope Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson does a better job at owning it then his boss ever did in it's first 2 versions.

The second version, to be fair, was off to a promising start, but couldn't survive the COVID sports shutdown of 2020. The quality of play was superior to XFL 1.0, for sure. Still, the basic problem is that spring/summer football is a supply in search of a demand, especially a public demand. Television seems to want it as a sort of sports placebo for fans who have lost interest in baseball (or never had any) and aren't into the winter sports and just have to have something to watch -- or maybe bet on -- after the Super Bowl is history.
