What's the farthest reaching non-licensed radio station you've heard of or you know about? Any specific details like power level or height?
For me, there was one in San Antonio at one point within the last 10 years. I noticed it several times on different channels playing classic rock and some newer stuff from the mid 2000s. No ID but I heard it over 10 miles away from the location where it was strongest. I barely received it but I'm sure it was them because they played the same songs and had the same audio processing. It was on the NW side but not sure if it's still there.
You can be as vague as you want, as I technically just snichd on a pirate. San Antonio is a big city though and I know it takes an engineer or FCC worker to track one down. Heck, the one I mentioned may have stopped broadcasting and sold the equipment
