My apologies if I can't do this or if this is in the wrong place (I don't know if I can self-promote something on here or not. If you are an admin or a moderator reading this and this is in the wrong place, just help me lead this into the right place. Thanks in advance).

I'm planning to launch a newsletter that's all about the SiriusXM satellite radio service. It'll be called SeriousXM (yeah, its cheeky but I'm going along with it) and it will feature the latest news, programming/lineup changes, new channels, entertainment, and sports events, throwback lineups, and more.

The newsletter will be free to everyone but will create an additional source for optional (keyword) donations down the road. If you are curious or want to receive the latest news about SiriusXM in a new newsletter sent straight to your inbox (again, for FREE), then here's the link to signup:

The SeriousXM Newsletter is powered via Substack and is a service of TheRolyPoly Productions.

If you've already signed up for it, I appreciate it. If not, go right ahead and do so. It is FREE after all and you'll have my token of appreciation! The first edition will be on Monday, June 6th. As a subscriber to Sirius/XM (XM since 2004) I look forward to your endeavors; as it is, I get a weekly email from SiriusXM, but it most just a promotion for some of the newest on-demand channels and really is not very comprehensive. Between the SiriusXM and the HD radio; I have found, I don't even miss not having the CD player in my Toyota!

This a great idea. If you need advertisers I would seriously suggest makers of headache remedies. Seriously, listening to SiriusXM for extended periods, especially the spoken-word channels, leads to some painful headaches. The satellite audio is terribly overcompressed.

Thank you and I know that feeling as I have the SXM Streaming Platinum plan myself.

I've opened up an optional donation page for those who want to support my newsletter and my work. They can Buy Me A Smile. 1 smile = $5, 2 = $10, and so forth. I've already received some donations thus far but I'm hoping to promote this to receive more.

Having been there since the beginning, I'd agree the audio from the birds has definitely degraded over the years.

As do I. It's a major upgrade in audio quality and having the extra content you can't get off the birds is awesome.

I am glad you are doing this. I miss xmfan. Nowhere to find out upcoming changes now... till this came about :)

Hello to all. Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead but its the new year and I wanted to let you know that I do a weekly newsletter that's focused on SiriusXM called SeriousXM.

It features the latest news, programming/lineup changes, new channels, entertainment, sports events, throwback lineups, and much more. Yes, its FREE to subscribe but I also accept optional donations to help sustain the newsletter and the work that I do.
