Buddy Shula: Buffalo Broadcasters HOF

Thank you. It is great to join the ranks of Wolf Blitzer and Lucille Ball, and of course the others who were nominated this year, including local broadcasters Sheila Brown, Tom Darro and all of the others.

There are certain people that made this happen in my career. My mom and dad, JP from 97 Rock, the legendary Taylor and Moore, Ex PD for WYRK Ken Johnson, ex 107.7 local owner John Casciani, ex Entercom GM's Larry Robb and Greg Reid, Entercom corporate David Field and Weezie Cramer, Ex Sinclair boss Barry Drake, Great Lakes Media CEO Tom Langmyer, Bank On Buffalo CEO Marty Griffith, Ex WYRK GM Kitty Bocock, my wife and family, and my WECK team who are the best of the best.

I have been blessed with some great coaches and mentors and people who gave me a shot when no one else would. I never forget these great people and broadcasters.

Super proud of you and happy for you Buddy! Thank you for letting me be a part of the BIG WECK! I am and have been honored to work for you.

-Glenn Topolski

Sending congrats to you from Erie, PA!

Buddy, you're a living legend in Buffalo! Congratulations on the good work you've done at the BIG WECK and your upcoming induction into the Buffalo Broadcaster's Hall of Fame this fall.

David, that means a lot. Thank you. I hope it doesn’t get me kicked off the boards again 😇
Nah. Maybe you get a hall pass this time!
