Is there any difference in the playlist of these two stations?

Y100 is Pop Top 40 Mainstream where they will play Beggin by Maneskin, Panic at the Disco, etc… where Power 96 is more rhythmic top 40. More focus on R&B hits.

I remember the sad y-100 in the early 90s, sounded like hot AC and power was very Miami rhythmic, no true CHR until 1996 when y evolved.

Are WLYF,WQHT and WFEZ normally always in the top 3 spots in the 6+ Arbitron ratings. Most Predictable market ever

yes, that's when they had a live cam in the control room.. you could watch live as the night DJ would just sit there reading a book, until the weather break arrived, then they'd scurry over and speak.... then back to the book.... the songs and promos took care of the rest...
