WLAC Transmitter Site for Sale

27 acres north of Nashville, asking 5.5 million, with the ability to keep the 3 acres for the towers and transmitter building.

Judging by the current branding and market conditions along with 1510's dismal nighttime signal, wouldn't be shocking if the whole thing was available for the right price.

It's a night signal that covers everywhere but Nashville

There's a multi-use site surrounding the WLW tower in Cincinnati.

I believe the WLW tower was made by the same company that did the WSM tower.
Blaw-Knox made the WLW and WSM towers....
WFEA, Manchester, NH (1370) and (ex) WHEB (750), Portsmouth, NH also have/had Blaw-Knox structures.
The WFEA tower is the "traditional" diamond style --- WHEB is/was a tripod-base self-supporting unit.

As Oldie said, both are Blaw Knox. Also at WBT in Charlotte. Until recently, at WADO in New York.

You can "preserve" an AM site and have buildings. Cox did it in Atlanta with WSB 750's site.
Same with the KTNQ / KEIB site in Los Angeles. 620 AM in Phoenix has a shopping center built over the ground system. There are many more like this. Even KFI in LA let warehouses be built around the transmitter site. All of these can be seen from the Google Maps arial view of the aerials.
