93Q Aircheck May '91

Ran across this gem. Appears to be right before the switch in August '91 to "rock hits" and Sept. '91 to "easy country". It's nice to hear them play bands like Cetu Javu and Eon among others outside of their Club 6400 and clone mixshows. KKBQ and KRBE (as well as KNRJ) in the late 80's/early 90's always took music risks. Loved those stations.

KKBQ 92.9 Pasadena Houston, TX 12 May 1991 : Robert Zerwekh : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

I stumbled on these air checks on YouTube a couple of months ago

That’s me. Thanks!
Thanks! I think I've listened to them all over the past few years. I spent many weekends clubbing in Houston back then. I used to listen all the way from Fort Hood. I had some recordings from back then that I lost along the way. One in particular was a mix that played Colm III "You Take Me High" that segued into "Pro›gen ('Land of Oz' Mix)" from The Shamen. That's all I remember lol.
