Story from KCBS. Bell was a part time anchor/reporter at KCBS from 1993-94 and afternoon drive co-anchor from 2004-22. In between those stints, Bell was a reporter for KFBK in Sacramento.

Great guy, great talent. Young for retirement…but that gives him a lot of room for his second act.
Congrats! for Jeff Bell having stints in both Sacramento and San Francisco!
He’s a great anchor and a great guy!
I think Jeff Bell left his fulltime KCBS job to devote to his non-profit which helps with obsessive-compulsive disorder. I've asked him for advice in starting a non-profit to provide karaoke jockeys to nursing homes.
