Love the Best of KPBS!! On this date: January 11th 1987 was the date after KPBS concluded its successful 12-day December 1986 Membership Campaign(Friday December 5th through Tuesday December 16th, 1986) and before the station conducting its Festival '87(March 1987 Membership Campaign) from Friday March 6th through Sunday March 22nd, 1987!! It's when the TV station debuted on June 25th, 1967 for 20 Years at that Time!!
TV Worth Watching and TV Worth Paying For!!

No Tijuana channels on this post
Except XETV if that counts. Other than that, none was listed in the Escondido Times-Advocate which is the primary source of this schedule.
The other Tijuana stations in 1987 would have been XEWT/12, XHAS/33, and maybe XHTIT/21 and XHJK/27 (both went on the air sometime that year). All were programming in Spanish at the time and perhaps the newspaper didn't figure Spanish-speakers were among their readership.

No Tijuana channels on this post
Here's XEWT's schedule from the following day, from the San Diego Union archives at newsbank.com. Sunday schedule unavailable.
