Ceril Shagrin, a staunch advocate for transparency in media measurement for half a century, has died, according to the publication HispanicAd.com. In addition to senior executive research positions at Univision and Nielsen, Shagrin also held key roles at the Media Rating Council and the Council For Research Excellence.
Shagrin spent more than two decades as EVP of Audience Measurement, Innovation, and Analytics at Univision. Before that she was Senior VP of Market Development for Nielsen for nearly 27 years.
