WMGK had nothing working at that point in their AC run. They were falling behind the competitors not because of her show, whatever animus one may have. Mix 95.7 was likewise a mess, out of the gate. Bad fit, not the fault of the show.

But that’s neither here nor there. AC isn’t exactly a hotbed, no pun intended, of fertile ratings ground at night here in 2022. The show offers a solution to have a personality with a built-in audience in an otherwise generally barren time period.

I don't think she "flopped"...as much as the station changed format.

They evolved into all 70s in summer of 1995 then by 96 they stated shift to classic hits they didn’t go full blown classic rock till sometime in 2000

I saw WMJX had added her when I took my break at work this afternoon and checked InsideRadio. The co-workers in the offices next to mine heard me reflexively utter, “Oh, God,” when I read the headline!
