Something's Wrong At Yemen State Radio 11860kHz

For the last several days, I’ll catch them running Their regular programming in my early morning hours (1500UTC is usually when I can hear enough of audio to determine what it is)

But for the the last several days, at 1700, I’ll hear a 5 minute english promo and a 5 minute Arabic language promo for satellite services provider NileSat run in a repeating loop for at least 2 hours

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here and suggest that it may be something to do with the brutal civil war that has been taking place in Yemen for nearly a decade. You likely already know this, but the 11860 station is run out of Saudi Arabia and backs the Yemeni government against apparently Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.

Correct on all accounts, its just odd in a sense its been happening at the same time every day for the last few days.

I also don't think the station is 50KW non directional as listed in many sources... its propagation behavior is similiar to Al Azm Radio on 11745 which runs 300kw.
