The main reason I don't list nighttime syndicated game show guests is due to the "bicycling" practice, meaning the broadcast order was out of sync from the production order. Plus the guests are usually not listed in the newspapers' schedules.

So Vision On was still making the rounds on U.S. TV. In 1972, our CBS station (then WAGA) slotted it Saturdays at 9 AM over the network offering (The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan). Noted it ran 12 years on BBC and among the cast was a pre-Doctor Who Sylvester McCoy.

I remember first seeing it on KQED San Francisco (PBS) in 1982.

Here is another Connecticut schedule from that day.

20 WATR (NBC) Waterbury
8:00 Today
10:00 Sanford and Son
10:30 Celebrity Sweepstakes
11:00 Wheel of Fortune
11:30 Hollywood Squares
NOON Fun Factory

1:30 Days of Our Lives
2:30 The Doctors
3:00 Another World
4:00 PTL Club
6:30 NBC Nightly News
7:00 Roller Derby
8:00 Sanford and Son (SP, 60 min.)
9:00 Rockford Files (SP)
10:00 Serpico (P)
11:00 News 20
11:30 Tonight Show
1:00 Midnight Special
See ch. 30 WHNB for guest info on Celebrity Sweepstakes, Hollywood Squares, The Tonight Show, and Midnight Special.

Addendum and Corrections:
Additional guests on ch. 3's broadcast of Dinah! (4:30 PM) were Freddie Prinze, Ruth Buzzi, Jerry Martinez (comc), Bob Holt (impressionist) and Jag Fashions (model-dancer troupe)
The guest star on ch. 8's premiere of The Muppet Show was actually Sandy Duncan, not Rita Moreno.

That schedule for WATR certainly looks low budget. Did they really not even have a 6 PM news show, but just 2 1/2 hours of hte PTL Club?
