KLUV has cut ties with Miles In The Morning according to www.radioinsight.com
Kinda like WOGL in either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia it’s one of the stationsDidn’t see that one coming! But I guess nothing surprises me anymore.
I also noticed their slogan is now “70s, 80s and 90s” instead of “Nobody plays more 80s.” Wonder if more changes are coming.
WOGL is in Philly. A number of other stations in the Audacy classic hits stable also adapted this slogan within the last couple years (K-Earth, KXSN), and ironically WOGL does not use it.Kinda like WOGL in either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia it’s one of the stations
It seems like it may have been driven by ongoing budget cuts and less by their performance. While KLUV returned to the top 5 in 6+ this past book, still no mention of their position in 25-54, 18-34, or 18-49 in Research Director's PPM Analysis article. While I don't know how well the morning show was doing, it's clear they had to do SOMETHING to improve the demos. I wonder what's caused their collapse, it's crazy to think that they tied for the 18-49 lead just as recently as the June 2021 book...
Nothing. They'll find a replacement for the show in time. There's always been overlap between 98.7 and 100.3.What’s going to happen with KLUV? They’re starting to sound like JACK FM.
if it has Audacy attached to it, nothing would surprise me anymore.....Didn’t see that one coming! But I guess nothing surprises me anymore.
