Far Nofhwest Suburban Chicago.....

Days: WRDZ, 4.5kw rimshot from La Grange, IL with ethnic programming. Former Radio Disney. The result here is a fair signal.

Night: WRDZ tightens its signal and drops to 4kw from its 6-tower site. Which causes it to completely disappear at my location. 1300 becomes a jumble, with WOOD most ;likely to rise to the top.....which doesn't happen all that often. Even less often, KGLO turns up. (Mason City, Iowa).

Sunrise-Sunset. When WOOD powers up in the morning, it goes from "occasional" to "reliable" for about a half hour.

Other Location: On my drive last week though western Ontario north of Lake Superior, WOOD was in with a good signal at three overnight stops, Thunder Bay, Kapuskasing,, and Orillia.
 
East Tennessee: Daytime-a fair to middlin' WMTN, Morristown TN.
Nights: A mix of several including WNQM, Nashville with 5kW aimed at us.

Retro/other: Dayton--West Central Ohio. Not much in the Dayton area with WHIO next door on 1290. I have picked up WOOD now and then. WHLT, Huntington, IN would make it across the border,and at sunrise and sunset, WNQM would be in, sometimes splattering WHIO with 50000 watts of fire and brimstone upon power-up
 
Here in Wood Dale, IL in the near NW suburb of Chicago:

Daytime: WRDZ with their Polish language programming from their 6-tower array in Alsip, IL visible from I-294.
Nighttime: WRDZ, but they can be nulled which normally brings in WOOD

DX/RETRO: DX catches include KGLO (Mason City, IA), WERE (Cleveland, OH), WMVO (Mt. Vernon, OH), WPFR (Terre Haute, IN), WKXI Jackson (FL) WOAD (Jackson, MS). Two most recent new catches on this frequency are WNQM (Nashville, TN) and WLXG (Lexington, KY). Both were heard in 2021.
 
From the southwest suburbs of Chicago:

The original 1 kW WTAQ transmitter was on the south edge of La Grange, still clear at night when I believe they dropped down to 500 watts. The sale of the station and separately, the property (it's a shopping center now) meant relocation.

The new owners moved to Alsip, about 10 miles southeast of La Grange and boosted the power. That means no way to null WRDZ from my spot on the map. In the WTAQ days, my DX catches were WOOD Grand Rapids, WERE Cleveland and WRBC Jackson, Miss. (have not heard as WOAD). At one point late in 2015 post-Disney, the station was off the air for a short time and these two were heard: WXRL Lancaster, N.Y. at 3:40 p.m. CT, and KGLO Mason City, Iowa just after midnight the next day. Nothing but WRDZ has been heard on 1300 since.
 
WKQK - 1300 - Cocoa Beach (Local) has been silent for many months....

At night the station in Nashville TN can be heard....

KTW - Melbourne FL
 
DFW, Texas

Daytime: Adjacent channel local 1310-KTCK spill over.
Nights: KVET Austin (Fox Sports), KAKC Tulsa (The Patriot), and occasionally XEP Ciudad Juárez.
Sunrise: KSYB Shreveport (Urban Gospel).
 
A couple of you have mentioned WERE. I've heard them exactly once at my location. 2-3 years ago. On ttop of the channel for a couple of minutes, but long enough for a positive ID, As for WOAD in Jackson, MS, 1300 was the original location for WJDX, before it moved to 620. When I began going to Jackson on a regular basis on business trips, 1300 was WRBC, a pretty decent tpp 40 outlet. but no match for the former occupant of their channel, "62/JDX".
 
In west Houston daytime I used to hear KLLS (now KHTW) Lumberton, TX, but only a slight whiff of them now. KVET Austin is sometimes in during the winter. At sunset, it's mostly KVET and KAKC Tulsa but have heard KSWB Shreveport and XEP Ciudad Juarez. Nights, mostly KVET with KAKC and XEP mixing in.
 
Central Kansas:
A blank frequency locally during the day. Have not eeked anything out at night.

North Iowa:
KGLO/Mason City day and night.
 
Only have one 1300 log here in Alaska.. KCMY near Reno.

I used to LIVE at another 1300 when I managed then WTIR "Cocoa Beach"

It's been back on now for.. a few weeks, maybe.. the special temporary authority filing says 400 watts, instead of the usual 2000
 
From NW San Antonio:

Day: Just heavy splatter from adjacent local 1310 KAHL and nearby local pest 1350 KXTN.

Sunset: I have to use narrow filters or a sync detector to hear anything half decently. Amidst the noise I usually get bits of a weak KVET in Austin, a somewhat stronger KSYB in Shreveport, and later a weak KLAR "Radio Poder" in Laredo.

Night: There's a bit less hash, but filters/sync still help a lot. Aiming E/W while using them eliminates the noise almost completely, and KLAR, XEP "Radio Mexicana" in Ciudad Juárez, and WOAD in Jackson, MS, all pop in from time to time. KLAR is heard the most often. Aiming NW, I can hear KCSF "Xtra Sports" in Colorado Springs in/out.

Sunrise: KSYB dominates when it goes to day power. Later XEP mixes in for a while. To the N/S, a weak KAKC can often be heard for a bit at day power/pattern. Also, I can hear weak bits of KVET before the splatter takes over completely.

DX/Retro: I've heard WNQM once - during a December sunrise five years ago. Occasionally at night I used to catch XEXV in León, but I haven't heard it at all in a couple of years.
