WPHT new lineup?

Rich Zeoli mentioned this morning that there will be a big announcement tomorrow morning at 8. Anyone know what it is?

Highly doubt they'll put WPHT on 96.5 for exactly the same reason you just said. Though I'll be honest, I'm at a loss as to what the big announcement could be.
 
Contest? Another of their “speaker series” things? They actually broke the three listener mark in a week?

Seriously, there is nothing to suggest anything all that earth shattering, and less than a zero percent chance it’s going to be on 96.5. They’re a better chance of them announcing they hired our old pal Julius as PD.
 
Let's put KYW on 1210 and put the talker on 1060 and see if anyone notices that KYW hasn't announced 1060 in a while. lol Let's then see how long it takes normal listeners to notice. Hey its a way to test to see if even 3 listeners listen to 1210! see if the station gets any calls.. hey you changed format! i'm angry! move it back! yeah right. lol soooo not gonna happen but it might be fun to test. Or hey here's another thought. GO all digital. nobody would even notice that there's no analog signal anymore since AM is dead after all. Ok the sad part is that we've spent more time joshin everyone then talking about the anouncement most likely.

If you google 1210 WPHT, you get a result that says: "The NEW Talk Radio 1210, WPHT". No clue how long it has appeared like that though.

Changing to “oldies talk radio”?? They will just rebroadcast old shows from WCAU-AM and resurrect their 2 traffic helicopters for better traffic reports! Get ready for the best of Joel Spivack, Maxine Schnall , Harry Gross, Bill Corsair’s Rascals, etc
 
Rich Zeoli to afternoons 3-7 in October. Greg Stocker and Dawn Stensland remain in mornings with Nick Kayal hosting (previously of The Fanatic before doing sports in Nashville until 2019)
