Splatter from 106.1 KMEL San Francisco

When I was in L.A it's KPWR Power 106, like 16 years ago

Hartland, VT:
Just splatter from classic rock WHDQ Claremont, NH (transmitter across the river in Ascutney, VT) at 106.1.

Meriden, CT:
WHCN Hartford, classic hits.

South Central Kansas:
A marginal to weak KDKQ-LP/Derby; otherwise, a weak KKSW/Lawrence.

North Iowa:
Bleedover from adjacent channel KLSS/Mason City.

Interesting one right now here in Rochester NY, where local WJZR has been silent for a few months pending a sale.

While it's off, we can sometimes hear K-Love from Syracuse (WKLZ) and even the low-power CFMS from across the lake in Markham, Ont.

East Tennessee: The translator for WGAP. Currently running a hodgepodge of music waiting for a new format. Retro/other: Dayton and western Ohio, WNKN, formerly WPFB-FM. Driving past Asheville NC, there’s a point where WTMT fades and the Hickory oldies translator comes up, until I pass the next hill, and WTMT returns

Northern England: a relay of Greatest Hits Radio in Liverpool, very weak but audible at my location. This signal has had numerous formats, signing on in 2006 as a 24/7 locally programmed talk service for the Liverpool area called CityTalk, before going through a few different music formats and eventually landing on running the Greatest Hits Radio network 24/7.

The transmitter site is Allerton Park, a site on a golf course on slightly elevated ground in the relatively flat city of Liverpool, and it is also used by a couple of other local broadcasters.

When this station was locally programmed as CityTalk, its studios were in one of the most spectacular radio station buildings anywhere in the world, the 450' Radio City Tower in Liverpool city centre, with sister station City 96.7.

Retro: I grew up not too far from Liverpool, and when I was younger this then-vacant frequency carried a number of local pirate radio stations over the years, including the hard dance "Sound FM".

KPWR 105.9 Los Angeles is still around
But unfortunately, no longer at 72kW. When I lived down their ( and occasionally visited friends and family ), it was either 102.7 or power 106. Always enjoyed listening to Rick Dee's. Back in the day, KPWR had an awesome hourly station ID at the top of every hour. I would crank the radio when it came on!!! They need to go back to 72kW, but sadly, I doubt that will ever happen.

As for our area, I have not found anything "yet" on 105.9.

From the southwest suburbs of Chicago: WCFS, simulcasting WBBM-AM 780 for the last several years. First heard as WXFM, then WAGO, WCKG. 4.1 kW from Sears Tower.

At the lake house (14 miles dead south of Aitkin, MN)

KKWS Wadena Country decent at night, comes and goes during the day
