Now that CMG is no longer providing a signal into Tampa. I would think that iHeart would be considering their alternative format for the Tampa FM dial. The younger demos would surely complement the cluster.

I could be wrong (wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities) but I recall recently seeing somewhere that WTMP was going back on W248CA which would make sense as that is NIA Broadcasting's translator, same licensee of WTMP. As I type this I did a little side research and it appears that the primary for W248CA is listed as WTMP per FCC filings: https://fccdata.org/?lang=en&facid=74108

I think it's rigged to divest one of the five even after relaxing the ownership rules but i think the duopoly of WFTV and WRDQ is the reason for the divestiture much like the old Viacom in 2002 when bought KCAL together in a duopoly with KCBS and spun off KFWB in 2009 under FCC conditional approval.
