Radio Ratings 10-04-22

How much longer is WBBM-FM going to die on the vine? They’re almost dead last among the competitive signals, and have been for quite a while (but things seem to be getting worse).

Hey, 100.3 has continued on with some form of adult-oriented pop music for the longest time, even if it's been a while since they've had stellar ratings.

By design. 100.3 flanks for WTMX. Always has. 20+ years of 2s
Exactly, I don’t think 96.3 serves a similar purpose for Audacy. CHR as a whole has been struggling, but I don’t think 96.3 can catch back up to 103.5. A lot of 2-CHR markets are seeing the CHR’s really slip and one dominant one emerging even if it has low numbers as well.

WBBM-FM is among Audacy’s lower rated CHR’s, including the languishing WPOW in Miami and WTDY in Philadelphia - although the latter is a similar situation as WSHE, sales purposes for Audacy’s Philadelphia cluster.

100.3 will change names again, they may even change calls, but as long as they’re owned by Hubbard and under the same roof they will never fully change formats.
