Radio Dabang 99.5 on KMIC 1590

A DX'er in Arkansas heard a south asian type music station on 1590kHz last week and when he posted a clip, i clearly heard "Radio Dabang 99.5 fm" mentioned by a female.

So, this must be a recent change?

On Radio Aleluya web site has 1590 still listed but no audio plays.

Rather surprising that KMIC would be heard in Arkansas, as the 1590 night signal is a fairly right lobe heading SE into the Gulf of Mexico. They are non-directional daytime, so it’s possible the signal might get out well during critical hours just before sunset or just after sunrise.

KMIC and 98.3 are playing Spanish music now. They don’t seem to ID in between songs. 98.3 was dead air last night. Radio Dabang seems to be originating programming again on 99.5.

Religious music? I really thought 99.5 would drop Dabang. And that Dabang was ready to be on 98.3.
I don't think I mentioned anything about religious music, however since you brought that up, did you ever notice how many radio stations in the Houston area are licensed or affiliated with religious entities, yet their programming doesn't match their affiliation?
