A somewhat confusing story.. Could this be a former studio site now used only as a transmitter or AUX site? 92.1 would be KCMT. and 96.1 KLPX,,

This was the 'original' building - studios and transmitter for KTKT-AM and the others picked up along the way. They moved out to that facility in 1967, per info found here: ** KTKT Tribute Site **

See, AM is so dead the story completely neglected the original station that occupied the facility.

Sad.

The average age of the KOLD staff (excepting Bud Foster, who skews the average by at least a decade or two) is such that they would barely know what radio is, let alone AM radio...

Her leading digit in age is 6. Or really close to that.
