Jaxon & the Pharmacist Reunion, Sort of...

You may remember the radio duo "Jaxon and the Pharmacist" from their show from 1999-2002, initially afternoons on 103.7 WRX, then morning when 103.7 joined the "FNX Radio Network" based in Boston. Both were employed separately at 94HJY before begin paired together. Paul Jaxon had spent 18 years in afternoons at WMMR/Philadelphia until being let go recently. The Pharmacist, Brian Mulhern, had spent the last 12 years as morning show co-host at WCTK, and was also recently let go. Jaxon as since began a podcast available on Spotify and recently had Brian the Pharmacist on with him. They talk about their time working together at FNX, among other things. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this, Jacko. It was outstanding. Who is the Boston sports radio person they referenced? I couldn’t figure out who that was.

I think it was Greg Hill, formerly WAAF, now WEEI. Took me a few minutes too, since I don't really think Greg Hill as a sports radio guy.

Thanks for the info! That makes sense.

I’ve listened to Jaxon off and on at WMMR, but he still has one hell of a set of pipes. I really hope he lands somewhere.

I ran across this in a group for Utah Radio discussion about a new internet station. I can't imagine theres more than one "Jaxon And The Pharmacist", the original post made reference to Jaxon being a radio DJ in SLC.

It was the same "Jaxon and the Pharmacist." Ran about a month or so before he took the job at Big 100 in D.C. Jaxon broadcasted remotely from his home in the Philly area, the Pharmacist from his home in R.I. I believe Jaxon spent some time in SLC years ago in his radio travels before landing at WMMR/Philly for 18 years.
