KW - Melbourne FL - as a "cold" front was going thru

Daytona Beach area - 80 miles north of here
Jacksonville - 200 miles north
Tampa Bay - 110 miles west
Miami area - 180 miles south....

Those must be just your out-of-town catches? How do the Orlando FM's do, especially the ones from north and west of Orlando like WXXL 106.7, WMGF 107.7 and WCFB 94.5? How about the lower powered WMM0 88.9 and WPYO 95.3?

WMGF has a good signal here. WPCV in Winter Haven is good too.
WMFE-FM, WCFB, WMMO, WNUE, and WXXL are dependent on enhanced conditions (That front is still hanging around though. WPYO is never audible (next to WFKS 95.1), nor is WUCF-FM.

So my usual dependable signals are split between 3 areas - Orlando, Cocoa-Melbourne and Vero Beach.
And sometimes 95.5 in Juno Beach and 104.5 in White City....

Thanks.

I'm surprised about WMFE. They are out of the antenna farm in Bithlo and their top of the hour says "WMFE Orlando, Melbourne, Daytona Beach". Their transmitter isn't as high up as WOMX, WTKS, WJRR, etc - but it is surprising that they don't really make it to Melbourne. I'm also surprised at WMGF in your area as their transmitter is significantly north of Orlando.

I forgot that you have a 95.1 FM out there.

My area is solidly within the Orlando market. The Tampa stations are reliable and some of the Space Coast stations make it OK (WAOA, WLRQ).

WPCV has a very strong signal here. Their transmitter seems well placed to cover several markets.

93.3 FLZ has a tower that's 1,600 feet above sea level with 97,000 watts and I could always hear them under any conditions well past Orlando going up I-4.

When I used to return to Florida after a drive up north, WFLZ would always start to come in right around the I-4 exit on I-95.

There are so many translators in Orlando on the air now that WFLZ is lost before you reach downtown.
