94 WIP Midday show, who should take over

I wonder what will audacy do to the 94 WIP Midday show now that the 2 guys currently hosting it are moving to Angelo's time slot next year? imho it will not shock me if nick kayal gets moved from 1210 and be promoted to host or co-host middays on 94 WIP. I'm sure audacy philly knows Nick is a sports talk host and to be honest, he's better fit for that format than what's he doing now. If audacy offers Nick the 94 WIP midday show, he should take it and leave 1210. Any other suggestions as to other folks that might be in line to take over the midday show on WIP?

They did not upend the 1210 lineup to create a seat-warming gig for him.
I think Nick will wind up going to WIP and to be honest, he has a better chance of lasting longer on wip than on 1210 and reach more listeners . WIP is a much powerful and more successful station than 1210.

Of course WIP is stronger. Heck, in the vanity numbers they were king of the hill last time. But they didn’t just throw him in place of Hannity, they moved their morning guy back to afternoons to upend the schedule and split the team chemistry they had. Which is more likely, they put him where they want him on 1210 and will handle 94 on its own.

I think breaking up the morning team at 1210 was a mistake. I don't see Kayal last very long in the morning on 1210 AM, especially if audacy decides to move him to WIP.

Mike Missanelli returns to WIP-FM.
Veteran Philly sports talker Mike Missanelli returned to the “SportsRadio 94” WIP-FM airwaves for the first time since 2006 Thursday morning, joining morning man Angelo Cataldi to reminisce about their time together at the station. The sports radio journeymen also talked about Missanelli's time working with legendary Philly sports personality Howard Eskin and their lengthy careers.

A Philadelphia sports radio mainstay for decades, Missanelli abruptly exited the afternoon drive slot at Beasley Media Group crosstown sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN in early summer. He had hosted afternoon drive on “The Fanatic” since it launched on FM in 2010. Missanelli was fired from WIP in 2006 after an altercation with a producer.

“The altercation I regret," Missanelli told Cataldi on Thursday. "I wish I would have been a little calmer in that particular situation, but I had two strikes against me. I'm Sicilian and I'm a Scorpio and that's bad DNA, it mixes."
