PBS Begathon

Well, it's time again for the TJ Lubinski music fest. Airing now for the umpteenth time is Magic Moments, hosted by Pat Boone in suede jacket. I think that show was done about 20 years ago. Most of the performers are now deceased.

Many donors of PBS love nostalgia. Just read 75% of the posts on this very site. There are a lot of folks in their mind still living in the 70's and 80's.

Well, TJ Lubinsky is back again in full force this week. How many more times are they going to air Folk Rewind with John Sebastian? Good grief.

It would serve much better. If they did the live, local "Betty Cope type pledge breaks of the 1970's and 80's". The national taped feed, just don't cut it.

...and yes, the 70's and 80's nostalgia is still alive and well on PBS stations. I do wish they'd bring "Red Green" back to bring us a little humor once and again. Also, WEAO once aired "Saint Elsewhere" later at night and they got good accolades for doing so. Granted that was over 30 years ago.
