WEWS Turns 75

The local shows they aired - Captain Penny, Mr Jingeling, Upbeat, Gene Carroll, Polka Varieties, Quarterback Club, Morning Exchange.

Any memory of earlier years has to include Dorothy Fuldheim.
I think it was back in 1923 when she was about 70 years old that she was begging Philo Farnsworth to invent something that dozens of people at once could see her at on a "viewing device of some type".
Also remember one of the radio DJs [maybe Phil Gardner?] doing a spoof of her on the radio as Dorothy Parttime.
 
I had a dream last night about Gib Shanley. I was a reporter and I was trying to interview him, but there was some commotion nearby making it difficult. Weird dream.
