Super Estrella Return

Heard a rumor that super estrella could be return to FM dial what u think
If the idea is to restore the modern / pop format, no way. There is very limited production of that kind of music today, and nearly none is released in the U.S.

They are bringing Super Estrella back, I’m not sure if solely as an online station or to FM as well. I think they are aiming for Spanish Rock hits from the 80s/90s and Spanish pop/ pop-rock hits from the late 90s/2000s, kind of what KSSE was in 1997-2006

I believe it’s going to be a second attempt of doing an online stream only as they did before when they went off the air on KSSE. They’re just going to play the 80s/90s Latin pop with rock en espanol and some 2000s. From Shakira to Mikel Erentxun.

There is not much pop production anymore left to continue carrying the format for the long run. Other than just reggaeton.

Forgive my ignorance — I'm curious to learn why that is.
Because younger people have migrated to reggaetón everywhere in Latin America, as Radiomusik just posted.
