Spanish Songs on Hip-Hop & CHR Stations

Tuning around in the past few months, I've been hearing Spanish language tunes on Hot 97, quite often, and less frequently on Z 100 and WSPK (Hudson Valley). Seems to me they are giving Latin hits more spins than in the past. Can anyone confirm this? Indeed, just before typing this I checked out WQHT 97.1, and they were playing a song by Bad Bunny.
Is this due to a larger than ever Hispanic audience for these stations? Perhaps Latin music is also becoming more mainstream in large urban areas,

This is due, I think, to wider exposure to Hispanic artists across everything from the music awards shows to streams and videos.

While unusual in the US and limited in the past to songs like Sikiyaki and Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu and a few others, in most places in the world it's very common to have tunes in other languages be hits. Perhaps the broadening of American culture is making us more open to songs from different cultures and languages.

Bad Bunny has one of the most successful tours of any artist in the last few years, and the attendance is not just Hispanics. And artists like him have made later generation Hispanics who were English language radio only are now using Spanish language radio also.
