Two More Leave WHUD 100.7

Recently nighttime host Susan Browning was let go from the nearby Hudson Valley station, and replaced by the syndicated JohnTesh show. According to AllAccess, there are now two more departures.
PD Steve Patrone had been with the station for 47 years. And Tom Furci midday host and APD, 29 years.
The Program Director at sister station WSPK will now also be PD at WHUD. Owner Pamal Broadcasting must be doing lots of belt tightening.

The GM was fired two days after I was back in October... Bloodbath at Pamal.

Frankly, it's remarkable they held out as long as they could. Small market radio seems to have little live air talent anymore, outside *maybe* the PD/MD/OM/janitor hosting PM drive or the GM hosting a morning show. WHUD seemed like the little engine that could for sooooo long. Sad to hear it losing its steam.

I still have the "Hudson Valley Weather" jingle stuck in my head from 20-ish years ago.
