The Cavs are also heard on WMMS along with WTAM and its FM translator.WTAM's drop to 4.4 certainly reflects the end of the baseball season but does it also indicate a lukewarm response to Triv's replacement? It's tough to follow a strong and established personality like that.
The Cavs should bring a boost as they continue their winning season.

And for Triv, heavy is [or was] literal.Remember, WTAM had a double whammy with Clay Travis & Buck Sexton taking over for Rush Limbaugh after his death on top of Triv/Bloomdaddy.
For the better part of 2 decades - outside of tweaks on the fringes and short lived experiments here and there - WTAM's schedule was etched in stone...Wills and Coleman/Snyder in AM drive, Glenn Beck late mornings, Rush at noon, Triv in PM drive, Tribe/Guards and Cavs in the evening, and Coast to Coast AM overnight.
So when you lose your 2 heavy hitters in the middle of the lineup (Rush and Triv) almost simultaneously, you're gonna feel it.
To be fair, considering Bill Wills has been the morning host since 1998, his ratings couldn't have been that bad.WTAM never had a highly rated morning show, which is deadly for a 50K news-talk plus Rush's demos were primarily upper end, so the station had warning signs for a while.
