Has anyone heard a low-power radio station broadcasting on 1660 AM in Lakewood? It's supposed to have the calls WQEY.

I did not find any stations that have been assigned those call letters. Format? Hearing it in daytime or night? If at night, you might be hearing WTOU out of Kalamazoo, Michigan. I've picked them up in the Akron area before.
I cant find any FCC licensed travelers information stations on 1660 anywhere in ohio.. but some federal ones arent licensed by the fcc.
Is it a Part 15 station, perhaps? You don’t need a callsign for something like that and may be out of vanity alone.
1670 is such a light frequency here in Ohio as x-band AM wasn’t implemented and never will be. (Side note: when you do get close to WKNR’s transmitter plant in North Royalton, that station’s signal echoes right on 1710.)

Lakewood does have a 10-watt, city-owned emergency radio station on 1620, as does Westlake (1680) and Strongsville (1640). Is that what you may be hearing?
