Elton John was an original promoter of XM and the portable Stiletto radio they marketed about 20 years ago.
In 2010, SiriusXM launched the Elton John Channel:

I kind of remember this...hey im a radio shows fan, has xm ever aired old music radio shows on any of their channels before ? There are certainly enough airchecks,in circulation today for thew to start a channel.

i was actually referring to music radio shows from the 60s & 70s.
They would have to obtain the rights to those shows in order to put them on a paid subscription service.
If Sirius makes money from it, the people who did those shows should get paid.
Rewound Radio is on the iHeart app, and that surprises me. An aircheck channel on SiriusXM sounds very unlikely, and who really owns the rights to those jock performances (or could file a claim later)?
i see...i heard xm 60s gold is having s top 1000 countdown next weekend....does xm 70s do any of these countdowns ?
70's on 7 just had a 1000 song countdown this past Christmas.
