Adam Jones

Did Jones lose the SH gig and get this one or did he leave on his own. I noticed Arcand called it the Jones & Ottolini show with Arcand so IDK?
Mego said she was super pumped.
 
Jones contract expired at the end of December.
Given 98.5's recent financial struggles maybe they tried to low ball him on a new deal, or maybe the appeal of doing afternoon drive was too much to pass up.
 
Financial troubles aside... where was his path forward at The Sports Hub? Why not come back to a station now run by the person who hired you at the Sports Hub to begin with in a better time slot? Amazing for those for are built for it, but 10 years working at night is a lot.

Not to mention he's first in line to fill in at 6am or any of the other daytime slots. Granted he gets a lot of time off when the teams are playing but still, that erratic schedule has to take it's toll.
