Do you think golds will become more prominent on current-based stations?

This is different than my "normal" threads in that I am actually wondering if in the future , golds will become more prominent on stations like CHR and urban due to the fact that hits "stall" and there arent as many "true" currents as there used to be, with oftentimes the bigger songs occupying the charts longer. Already, alternative has become a more gold based format, and while some formats will always be current based, makes me wonder.

This will only happen in Kansas City.
