Charles Kimbrough, Murphy Brown actor, dead at 86

He was my favorite character on Murphy Brown...R.I.P.

How strange about the different dates when his death may have happened, going as far back as mid-January, and then NBC Today in the posted article still waiting to hear back for confirmation of the date...and his death?

Was he alone in his home? There may have not been a next-of-kin who knew that Kimbrough had died. Welfare check?

As I recall, the death of his wife, Beth Howland, was somewhat delayed too.

I liked Jim Dial's character too. He reminded me of the Presbyterians I attended church with as a kid.
