Looks like they are keeping a lot of the programming from Decades and getting rid of the talk show reruns and Through the Decades. The 6 to 9PM lineup is similar to what GetTV had a few years back.

I wonder if they will still do a version of the Decades Binge on the weekends. These blocks are nice because they often show programming that isn't in the regular lineup and if you DVR them, you can play them back later.

Speaking of GetTV, three of the shows joining the re-christened network were shows that were just airing there until the turn of the New Year--Good Times, All in the Family, and Sanford and Son. These sitcoms were also featured for years as part of Antenna TV's original lineup.

As far as the name...it's not the worst re-branding in the world, but I think that they should have kept the "Decades" name, and re-purpose the network as "celebrating the decades of classic comedy". However, if Weigel felt a re-branding of Decades was necessary, they could have at least traded-in on the "MeTV" brand.

I've heard better names. After all, Comedy Central was originally called Ha!

So will antenna TV and MeTV and rewind TV have different libraries to pick from that sounds like a lot of overlap. Also I wonder if this is why full house left METV abruptly

Me TV just recently started carrying All in the Family, which it had in the past. I wonder if they'll pick up other Learcoms.

Also it looks like it would have made sense to fold Decades into Me TV Plus to get it onto more stations.

I think they really need more variety. They have alot of networks with comedys but they don't have very many that have the classic drama shows like 21 Jump Street, Renegade, Highlander, Maverick, Wild Wild West, Highway To Heaven, Guns of Paradise, Young Riders, Mission Impossible, Streets of San Francisco, Kung Fu. And the comedys they do have they are usually the same ones that are on the other channels. There's so many other shows they could air that haven't been shown for along time like Mr. Belvedere, Webster, Perfect Strangers, Kate & Allie, Silver Spoons, The Mommies, Something So Right, The Torkelsons, Just the Ten of Us, Empty Nest, Nurses, Doogie Howser M.D.

I think the success of Rewind TV has caught their eyes. They seem to be headed in that direction. I'm not that crazy about their new schedule past 8 PM but will be watching more in mornings and afternoons.
