With the mention of Audacy possibly making some changes to their HD2 and HD3 subchannels, I thought I’d do a new video bandscan. This bandscan was done last night from the Target parking lot in Irving, near I-635. I chose this location, so I could pick up all the HD signals in the market. Anyways, enjoy!

Aren't you the same guy who has sent over ID samples to Tophour before?

94.1 KLNO HD3 has been off for the last few weeks. I do hear that is now being called “The Zone 94.1 HD3” now. I’m not sure if it’s been off the air for a few weeks to rebrand or what. I sent the owner a message, but haven’t heard back yet.

So is 98.7 HD3 no more? Not showing up on my HD radio.
Nope! I noticed that tonight, as well. Audacy said they were dropping some HD subchannels to save money. I hope there aren’t too many more cuts, although I’m kinda thinking Channel Q might be next, since they’ve cut all the talent and it’s now jockless. Channel Q doesn’t really seem to come in very good on the HD3. It’ll sometimes cut in and out, even when I can see the Cedar Hill tower.

If Channel Q has cut its talent, and now runs jockless, it'll only be a matter of time before the network comes to an end.

I was thinking the same thing. I just hope they leave The Oasis alone...

i think HD Radio substations will be a thing of the past as the big radio companies are ditching them due to expensive music rates and HD Radio not taking off at all when it launched and streaming giving better quality then HD Radio would, in fact, i think they prefer you to stream over listen to HD Radio substations, that's why when KEGL flipped, the Eagle brand and format not only moved to HD2, but iHeart launched a webstream of it to all those without HD Radio to listen to it.
