New from Minnesota

New here. Name is Mike and I've been a ham for about 26 years. I live 4 miles north of Dassel Minnesota ( 30 miles due south of St. Cloud) on 10 acres. I'm running an ICOM IC-718 with an Ameritron AL-811 amp, through LMR 400 to a home brew fan dipole on a 48' tower. Also running 2 meter--IC-V8000 to a J-pole at 20'. I do SSB as well as a LOT of CW. Member of ARRL and SKCC. Also member Meeker county ARC and ST. Cloud ARC. Besides Ham radio, I like welding, blacksmithing, playing banjo, fly fishing, metal detecting, old west, fur trade and Native American history and crafts and outdoor photography. Hope to make some friends here and learn a lot from all of you. I'm current on QRZ.
